Selamlique Istanbul's Traditional Turkish Coffee is the benchmark of the range — the coffee that defines what every other blend is measured against. Ground from 100% Arabica beans sourced from Brazil's Rio Minas region, grown at around 800 metres altitude, sun-dried in natural conditions, and stone-milled to the ultra-fine consistency that Turkish coffee demands. The roast is medium, calibrated for balanced acidity, a soft body, and a creamy finish — the classic tasting profile that has made this the most-stocked Selamlique variety.
Each 125g tin holds individual pre-measured sachets. One sachet, one cup, no scale needed — the correct dose is already portioned so the foam comes out right every time. The format is Selamlique's own invention: the brand pioneered single-serve Turkish coffee sachets, making the cezve ritual accessible without any compromise on quality.
The production takes place at Selamlique's own roastery in Izmir, certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management). A single green Arabica bean is ground to up to 35,000 particles to achieve the fineness that defines Turkish coffee texture. Caffeine content: 1.2%.
How to brew
Add the contents of one sachet to a cezve with a small cup of cold water. Place over low heat and let the coffee warm slowly — do not stir. Watch for the dark foam (köpük) to rise toward the rim, then remove from the heat before it boils. Spoon a little foam into your cup, return the cezve to heat for a second rise, then pour. Serve with a glass of water and, if you like, a piece of Turkish delight.
