Parmak lokum — "finger" Turkish delight — is shaped by hand into elongated rolls, each one wrapped around a whole pistachio core. This milk-and-pistachio version carries a pale cream colour and a clean, lightly sweet dairy note that balances the natural richness of the nut inside.
The outer layer is soft and yielding, made from starch, sugar, honey, spring water, and a milk aroma that gives it a distinctly mellow character. Each piece holds a single Antep pistachio at its centre, so every bite delivers the contrast of a pillowy exterior and a firm, slightly savoury nut.
What makes parmak lokum different from cube-cut lokum: The finger shape is a traditional Turkish confectionery format with a higher filling-to-wrapper ratio. The piece is also thinner-walled than typical cube lokum, so the pistachio flavour comes through from the first bite rather than at the end.
