What it is
A 100 g resealable stand-up pouch of pure dried spinach, reduced to powder form. Approximately 12 kg of fresh spinach yields 1 kg of finished powder — so a small amount carries the colour and flavour of a large quantity of fresh leaves. The powder is fine enough to dissolve smoothly into liquids and blend invisibly into batters.
How to use it
Add one to two teaspoons to smoothies or green juices for natural colour without altering the flavour significantly. Stir into soups or pasta sauces during the last few minutes of cooking to preserve the green colour. Fold into pasta or bread dough for a distinct green hue — about 1–2 teaspoons per 100 g of flour works well. Mix into pancake or waffle batter, omelettes, or savoury pastry dough. It also blends into rice, couscous, or grain dishes.
