Tuğba Kuruyemiş Turkish Coffee is a finely ground, 100% Arabica coffee made for brewing the traditional way in a cezve (also called an ibrik or Turkish coffee pot). Tuğba Kuruyemiş is one of Turkey's most established names in nuts, coffee and confectionery, founded in Aydın in 1980, and offering Turkish coffee to guests in its stores is part of the brand's long-standing hospitality tradition.
This is single-ingredient coffee — nothing but roasted, ground Arabica beans, with no added flavorings. The beans are sourced from Brazil and ground to the powder-fine texture that Turkish coffee depends on: finer than espresso, closer to flour than to standard drip grind. That grind is what lets the coffee brew unfiltered, releasing a full, intense body and the thick crema-like foam (köpük) prized on top of a proper cup.
How to brew it: Stir one heaping teaspoon (about 7 g) of coffee per small cup into cold water in the cezve — add sugar now if you want it, since it is not stirred again. Place it over low heat and let it come up slowly over three to four minutes. As a dark foam rises toward the rim, lift the pot off the heat before it boils over, spoon some foam into each cup, return to the heat briefly, then pour. Let the cup rest a minute or two so the grounds settle before sipping.
