Tadim Roasted Sunflower Seeds 180g – Salted or Plain (In-Shell)

Tadim Roasted Sunflower Seeds are the classic Turkish snacking seed known locally as çekirdek — whole, in-shell black-and-grey striped sunflower seeds, dry-roasted and packed in a 180g bag. These are eaten the traditional way: you crack the shell with your teeth and eat the kernel inside. They are not hulled kernels for baking or salads. Cracking and eating them slowly is half the appeal, which is why they are a favourite over tea, on long drives, during a football match, or while you watch a film.

Choose the version that suits you. The plain roasted seeds are simply roasted with a light touch of salt, so the natural nutty flavour leads. The extra-salted version (labelled Bol Tuzlu in Turkish) is roasted and generously salted for a bolder, saltier bite that seed lovers tend to reach for first. Both come in the same 180g pack.

Tadim is one of Turkey's best-known nut and seed brands, founded in 1971 by the Tekinalp family of Gaziantep, who have worked in the Turkish nut trade since the 1940s. Their roasted sunflower seeds are sold and snacked on far beyond Turkey, from the United States to the Gulf and the UK.
