This is Kahve Dünyası's El Yapımı Fındık Kreması — the handmade hazelnut cream from Turkey's best-known coffee and chocolate house, founded in Istanbul's Eminönü district in 2004. It is not a Nutella-style cocoa spread. There is no cocoa in it at all. The cream is pale blonde, and the flavor is pure roasted hazelnut — closer to a sweet hazelnut butter than to chocolate spread.
The recipe is three ingredients: hazelnuts (50%), sugar from sugar beet, and milk powder. Half of every jar is fresh, double-roasted Turkish hazelnuts — the double roast is what gives the cream its deep, toasty flavor without any cocoa to hide behind. Per 100g it carries 11g of protein and zero trans fat, both printed on the jar's label, and it contains dietary fiber.
Because Kahve Dünyası adds no preservatives or additives, the shelf life is short for a spread — two months, kept in a dry place away from direct sunlight. That short window is the trade-off for a clean label, and it is why this jar tastes like freshly ground hazelnuts rather than a shelf-stable factory paste.
