Doğadan Papatya is the chamomile tea of Doğadan, one of the most widely recognized herbal tea brands in Türkiye. The ingredient list on Doğadan's own product page shows a single entry — Mayıs Papatyası ('May chamomile') — so the bag holds chamomile flowers and nothing else. Like every true chamomile infusion, it is naturally caffeine-free.
Each box contains 20 cup-size tea bags — the format Turkish brands call bardak poşet, sized to brew one glass or mug at a time instead of a whole pot. The light-blue pack carries the printed name of Doğadan's 'Relax' herbal tea line, with the yellow Papatya band and chamomile illustrations familiar from grocery shelves across Türkiye.
In the cup it brews light golden, with the soft floral aroma and mild, faintly apple-like taste chamomile is known for. In Türkiye, papatya çayı sits alongside linden (ıhlamur) and sage (adaçayı) among the everyday herbal teas, often served after dinner.
How to brew
- Place one bag in a cup or glass of about 200 ml.
- Pour freshly boiled water over the bag.
- Steep 3–5 minutes, then remove the bag.
- Drink it plain, or add a teaspoon of honey — the serving suggestion Doğadan itself gives.
Doğadan produces its teas in Türkiye under FSSC 22000 food-safety and ISO 9001 quality certification, with botanicals checked through physical, chemical and microbiological analysis before packing.
BTurkish delivers the original Doğadan Papatya box to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and beyond.
