The base is 100% Turkish black tea, grown in the Black Sea tea gardens of the Rize–Trabzon region and made from upper tea leaves for a clean, strong cup. It is then scented with natural bergamot (Citrus bergamia), the aromatic citrus traditionally used to perfume black tea. The dry leaf carries a fragrant, slightly floral citrus aroma; brewed, it pours a deep amber-red colour with a smooth, full taste and a lingering bergamot finish that is citrusy without being sour.

How to brew it the Turkish way: add the loose tea to the upper pot of a double teapot (çaydanlık), pour boiling water over the leaves, top up the lower pot, and let it steep over low heat for 15–20 minutes.
